1. Baby Throne Advance Compact Travel Stroller
Meant for parents who travel often:
The Baby Throne Advance Compact Travel Stroller by ETINbaby comes in many color options and is sturdy enough to travel with. The compact size of this stroller is suitable for even a Perodua Viva.
However, children will outgrow this baby stroller fast (e.g. 18 months may be too big for this stroller).
The upgraded 2019 version of the Baby Throne Advance Compact Cabin Size Baby Stroller can recline down to 180 degrees and has a longer baby seat (26cm instead of 18cm)! But it is heavier (6kg)!
After folding it, the Baby Throne Advance Compact Cabin Size Baby Stroller does get pretty small but there is still some difficulty getting the stroller into the provided bag.
Folding this stroller is not easy (especially for petite frames) or quick so you might want to consider another travel stroller if you want to store the stroller quickly (e.g., when on public transport).
Some practice is definitely necessary for this stroller. After which, it is easy to handle this stroller and unfold it too!
Note: You can link two of these strollers together for your twins but the gap between is considerably wide.
Furthermore, the material used for the Baby Throne Advance Compact Cabin Size Baby Stroller feels quite rough so do prepare a softer layer before laying your baby down in this stroller.
These negative points aside, the Baby Throne Advance Compact Cabin Size Baby Stroller comes with handy accessories such as the shoulder straps for the bag, a wrist band, bottle holder as well as a nifty mosquito net!
Other great features of theBaby Throne Advance Compact Cabin Size Baby Stroller are the UV protected sun canopy that also has a peekaboo window for parents to easily check in on their baby.
For a travel stroller, theBaby Throne Advance Compact Cabin Size Baby Stroller is not as convenient as we would like when it comes to storing it.
This stroller might be easier for dads to handle rather than mums due to the weight of the stroller and the folding mechanism.
It does however, pack small and is compatible for both infants and toddlers. The Baby Throne Advance Compact Cabin Size Baby Stroller is our top pick for the most compact stroller. And much cheaper than the Babyzen YOYO² Stroller (over RM2,000).
Moreover, theBaby Throne Advance Compact Cabin Size Baby Stroller is an affordable alternative budget traveller for newborns. By comparison, the Chicco Goody Compact Stroller costs RM1,000+.

- Heavy
- Difficult to fold (needs practice)
- Handlebar is a bit too high for shorter parents

- Short warranty period
2. U-Baby PRO UW-ST Y1 Compact Stroller
Designed to be assembled within 2 seconds with one hand, the U-Baby PRO UW-ST Y1 Compact Stroller is available in red, grey, or blue. The mesh basket underneath the stroller is removable!
Plus, this baby stroller has a window and is very breezy (mesh sides) so the U-Baby PRO UW-ST Y1 Compact Stroller is good for both sightseeing or walks in the park!
It can handle rougher terrain than most other strollers because of its suspension wheels.
PS: If warranty worries you, this baby stroller comes with 1 year warranty.
For under RM300, the build quality is quite robust and decent. You can use the U-Baby PRO UW-ST Y1 Compact Stroller until your child is ~4-5 years old which is longer than the Evenflo Waav Compact Stroller will (up to 25kg).
It is cabin sized (when folded) as well without the need to carry it (you can roll it along instead). It is possible to fold this stroller with one hand.
However, some users have trouble with its assembly even when referring to the manual. Particularly with installing the back wheels.
Tip: Ask the seller if there is an installation video just for the wheels!
Another point of concern is the inadequate cushioning which seems too hard for baby to sleep comfortably!
Still, the U-Baby PRO UW-ST Y1 Compact Stroller is by far, the best budget alternative if you’re looking for a travel stroller for a toddler. It’s a lot cheaper than the Babyzen YOYO² Stroller (RM2,000+).
Another point that one user brought up was the inadequate cushioning. It seems too hard for baby to sleep comfortably!
If warranty worries you, this baby stroller comes with 1 year warranty.
And will support your kid longer than the Evenflo Waav Compact Stroller will (up to 25kg)! Plus, this baby stroller has a window and is very breezy (mesh sides)!
So it may be really nice to take this stroller along for sightseeing or walks in the park! You can put those suspension wheels to work too!

- Somewhat inadequate cushioning
3. Mamakiddies Reverso Reversible 2 In 1 Travel System Stroller
In matte black, red, or grey, the Mamakiddies Reverso Reversible 2 in 1 Travel System Stroller is foldable even withone hand.
It’s definitely heavy at 10.5kg which is the heaviest model in this list. Yet it supports children up to 13-15kg, is easy to handle and ticks many other boxes:
Firstly, it has no shortage of useful accessories including a removable canopy with a peekaboo window, a mosquito net, a cup holder, and numerous storage features.
The main highlights of the Mamakiddies Reverso Reversible 2 in 1 Travel System Stroller however are its versatility as a car seat (not ISOFIX-compatible) and carrier (2.4kg).
Additionally, the handle direction can be reversed! There are 3 positions including a flat position for newborns!
Note: The manual is next to useless. However, most users don’t have a problem figuring out the assembly.
The build quality of the Mamakiddies Reverso Reversible 2 in 1 Travel System Stroller is good for the price. And while it is certainly not cabin sized, you can still fit the stroller into a Myvi car boot!
Besides this, the cushion is quite thick. You might find it to be too firm though. The fabric is a combination of polyester and linen.
With all things considered:
For those interested in convertible baby strollers, the Mamakiddies Reverso Reversible 2 in 1 Travel System Stroller System may be significantly heavier (by ~3 kg) than the Alpha Living Baby Car Seat Stroller 4 in 1 Transformable Travel System.
But the Mamakiddies Reverso Reversible 2 in 1 Travel System Stroller System is cheaper and feels a lot more durable too! And the longer warranty period is a nice bonus.
- Suitable For: 0 – 4 Years Old
- Support Weight: Up To 18kg
- Stroller Weight: 10.5kg
- Dimensions: 52 x 94 x 100 cm (W x L x H)

- Bulky and heavy
4. Sweet Cherry S507 Akira Stroller
The Sweet Cherry S507 Akira Stroller is a mid-range stroller that is suitable for parents that need something easier to handle while on the move or carrying out daily errands with baby in tow.
It is lightweight at 4.5kg (the lightest model in this list besides the Sweet Heart Paris ST250 Lightweight Compact Size Baby Stroller) and is easy to assemble.
Single handed use is possible which allows parents to carry their kids at the same time while assembling the stroller.
That said, it only supports up to 18kg so you can only use this until your child is about 3 years old. On a similar note, the Sweet Cherry S507 Akira Stroller is unsuitable for taller kids.
One other disadvantage of this stroller is that it has a bulky frame even when folded. It will fill up the entire car boot of a Perodua Jazz so those with small vehicles should consider a more compact stroller.
What we do appreciate about the Sweet Cherry S507 Akira Stroller though, is the fact that it comes with a 5-point harness (more secure than the cheaper Sweet Heart Paris ST250 Lightweight Compact Size Baby Stroller) as well as a detachable seat pad for easy cleaning.
So while the Sweet Cherry S507 Akira Stroller is really lightweight and convenient for parents on the go (and with a good sized car), you need to consider that you’ll probably only be using it for a short time since kids will outgrow this stroller quickly.
- Suitable For: Infant – 3 Years Old
- Support Weight: Up To 18kg
- Stroller Weight: 4.4 kg
- Dimensions: 47 x 83 x 98 cm (W x L x H)
- Folded Dimensions: N/A
- Warranty: N/A
- Price: ~RM295
Pros:
- Affordable
- Lightweight
- Easy to open and close
- Easy to assemble
- Detachable Lid
Cons:
- Bulky
- Not suitable for taller kids
5. Sweet Heart Paris ST250 Lightweight Compact Size Baby Stroller
For parents who are on a budget, the Sweet Heart Paris ST250 Lightweight Compact Size Baby Stroller is a really affordable option that comes in 5 colors.
And even though it may be on the cheaper side, it is still a handy product as it is lightweight at 4.4kg and hence, easy to carry around.
Furthermore, the Sweet Heart Paris ST250 Lightweight Compact Size Baby Stroller is easy to fold making it ideal for petite mothers or those who are handling their baby on their own.
The thick cushion is plush and comfy for the passenger. The backrest is made from mesh to make it breathable for on baby’s sensitive skin. Unfortunately, the seatbelt isn’t as secure as we would like.
At this price point though, it’s not surprising that the Sweet Heart Paris ST250 Lightweight Compact Size Baby Stroller is meant for anything other than daily casual use.
- Suitable For: 6 months – 3 Years Old
- Support Weight: Up To 15kg
- Stroller Weight: 4.4kg
- Dimensions: 46 x 70-75 x 97 cm (W x L x H)

Cons:
- Seatbelt isn’t secure
6. Evenflo GB Pilot Cabin Size Stroller
Because the Evenflo GB Pilot Cabin Size Stroller folds well into a small size that fits well into flight cabins, this compact model from Evenflo will be suitable for traveling.
This stroller has a maximum recline angle of 170° too. However, this is not a dual-facing stroller (i.e., only front facing).
But most importantly, it is easy to open and close for a hassle-free experience (e.g., when boarding a flight). And the stroller is even lightweight (6kg) enough to handle alone.
Even so, the Evenflo GB Pilot Cabin Size Stroller is expensive at RM599. And seeing that it can only carry up to 15 kg, you will only get your money’s worth of the Evenflo GB Pilot Cabin Size Stroller if you travel often.
To further justify the price tag, the Evenflo GB Pilot Cabin Size Stroller does come with 2-year warranty that most strollers in this list do not.
It’s not that the Evenflo GB Pilot Cabin Size Stroller is a bad stroller – it’s good but there are comparable options that are cheaper and hence, better value for money (like the Baby Throne Advance Compact Travel Stroller which costs RM250).
- Suitable For: Infant– 4 Years Old
- Support Weight: Up To 15kg
- Stroller Weight: 6kg
- Dimensions: 74 x 42 x 97 cm (W x L x H)

Cons:

- Front-facing only
7. Prego Adonis One Hand Fold Baby Stroller (0-22kg)
Prego Adonis One Hand Fold Baby Stroller is another affordable stroller (under RM300) that is convenient for petite ladies or single parent usage as it only weighs 5.5kg!
You can easily open and close the stroller although, it is still bulky even after folding so it may not be able to fit into the cabin-sized category for flights.
And while it does have a reclining function, it can only go down to a maximum of 160° which doesn’t allow for a flat laydown.
However, the canopy hood has UV protection of SPF50 as well as generous storage space below the carrier.
It’s also worth noting that he Prego Adonis One Hand Fold Baby Stroller has the longest warranty period (3 years) for a stroller (in this list) which is surprising for its price.
In this regard, the Prego Adonis One Hand Fold Baby Stroller is great value for money when compared to other strollers in the same price range (for example, the U-Baby PRO UW-ST Y1 Compact Stroller has only 1 year of warranty).
Plus, it has some additional features (e.g., reversible direction).
However, because the Prego Adonis One Hand Fold Baby Stroller doesn’t pack small or fully recline though, we would not suggest this stroller for longer journeys with infants or travelling abroad.
- Suitable For: Infant – 4 Years Old
- Support Weight: Up To 18kg
- Stroller Weight: 5.5kg
- Dimensions: 46 x 96 x 68 cm (W x L x H)
- Folded Dimensions: 34 x 91 x 46 cm (W x L x H)
- Warranty: 3 years

- Adjustable footrest
- Detachable canopy with UV protection SPF50

- 3-year warranty

- Bulky even when folded
- Reclines down to 160° only (can’t fully lie down)
Best Luxury Stroller
Be prepared to spend RM1,000 or more for one of these!
8. Chicco Mini Bravo Sport Travel System
A more expensive stroller, the Chicco Mini Bravo Sport Travel System comes with both a stroller and car seat.
The stroller on its own can hold up to 22.7kg and will hence, suit any child from 6 months to 4 years old. In contrast, the car seat will only be able to support up to 10kg.
However, the car seat comes with an isofix base and folds up quickly with a quick-fold mechanism which makes it easy to handle the car seat and the stroller at the same time.
And with the Chicco Mini Bravo Sport Travel System, the main parts are removable for easier cleaning! Other thoughtful features of this stroller are the ample storage on the stroller.
To conclude, the Chicco Mini Bravo Sport Travel System is a costly investment considering that you can’t use the car seat for long before your kid outgrows it. But this is still a well-designed stroller for road trips especially.
Most importantly, both the car seat and the stroller have a 5-point harness! And so, the Chicco Mini Bravo Sport Travel System is our recommendation for a premium stroller that you can conveniently use in your car.
- Suitable For: 6 Months – 4 Years Old
- Stroller Support Weight: Up To 22.7kg
- Stroller Weight: 8.9kg
- Car Seat Support Weight: 10kg
- Car Seat Weight: 7.6kg
- Stroller Dimensions: 91 x 105 cm (W x H)
- Folded Dimensions: 53 x 72 x 35 cm (W x H x D)

- Large storage basket
- Padded 5-point harness on both car seat and stroller
- Removable and washable fabrics
- With 1-year warranty
Cons:
- Expensive
- Car seat only holds up to 10kg
9. Chicco Goody Compact Stroller
From its frame you can already tell that this is not a cheap baby stroller:
The Chicco Goody Compact Stroller will last your child from infancy until they weigh 22kg! As the backseat can adjust to a few positions and even fully recline.
Handling the stroller is very pleasant with the non-slip ergonomic handle grip. And you can reach for essentials like baby milk powder in the storage basket from the rear end of the stroller.
Did we mention that if folds itself? All you have to do is push the top button! Unfolding it can be done with one hand too!
It weighs ~7kg which is still acceptable. The smart folding mechanism and robustness of the stroller makes up for it.
Furthermore, there is a 5-point harness, shock absorbing wheels, and an extendable canopy. The bumper bar is also removable.
However, the canopy is kind of fiddly (doesn’t fit so well) and does not have any window.
And the Chicco Goody Compact Stroller does not fold up nearly as compact as Pockit Plus All Terrain Stroller but is a great deal easier to fold.
With everything considered, the Chicco Goody Compact Stroller is our favorite premium stroller for travelling with newborns!
- Suitable For: 0 – 4 Years Old
- Support Weight: Up To 22kg
- Stroller Weight: 6.9kg
- Dimensions: n/a
- Folded Dimensions: 46.5 x 25 x 56 cm (W x L x H)
- Warranty: 1 year
- Price: ~RM1,099
Pros:
- 5-point harness seat belt
- Easy to fold with one hand (Self folding)
- Self-standing once closed
- Extendable sun canopy
- Great quality
- Wide age range
- Comfortable to handle
Cons:
- Expensive
- Short warranty for the price
- Quite heavy
10. Babyzen YOYO² Stroller (Frame And 6+ Color Pack)
Babyzen’s updated version has a brand new frame design with more reinforcement! It can now support kids up to 22kg instead of just 18kg with the YOYO+ stroller.
Strangely though, the seat size is still the same. So you may only be able to use this until your kid is 5 years old, at most. It is most comfortable for kids between 2-3 years old.
One other new addition is the faux leather handle bar for a more pleasant pushing experience.
Note: There is a toddler seat that can be attached to this stroller (additional cost)
Furthermore, each of the 4 wheels has independent suspension for an improved steering experience while still retaining the same weight and portable advantages of the YOYO+ stroller
Note: Although users who have tried the YOYO and YOYO+ don’t feel that there was real need for improvement in this category!
Babyzen YOYO² Stroller is a great travel-friendly stroller that requires minimal effort to fold/ unfold. It unfolds quickly and with little effort. Folding doesn’t take much effort either!
There is no significant improvement over the already awesome YOYO+ or YOYO strollers.
But because the rain cover now costs extra (i.e. not included), you may want to go for the YOYO+ stroller instead. And if you already have a YOYO stroller, just use that one!
Note: With the YOYO bassinet, the stroller is extra versatile (infant to toddler)!
In conclusion, if you have the budget for such a high-end stroller, the Babyzen YOYO² Stroller will not disappoint as a travel stroller for toddlers.
- Suitable For: 6 months – 4 Years Old
- Support Weight: Up To 22kg
- Stroller Weight: 6.2kg

- Price: ~RM2,190

- 5-point harness
- 6+ color options
- Peek-a-boo window
- Long warranty
- 5kg storage basket (front or rear access)
- Canopy has sun protection (UPF 50+) and is waterproof-treated
- Still compatible with original YOYO+ accessories
- Faux leather handle replaces foam handle
Cons:
- Very expensive
- Front-facing only
- Rain cover sold separately
Conclusion
The best baby strollers in Malaysia can cost between RM200 to RM2,000, as you can see from the list above!
Our recommendation list above showcases strollers that excel in their respective category for price, lightweight, safety, and user-friendly features!
