1. Ella Fry Pan
For those that want style and functionality, the Ella Fry Pan comes in not 1 but 3 pleasing colors – salmon, Prussian blue or ivory white.
While solidly built with a one-piece stainless steel handle, this non stick frying pan by Ella is still manageable in terms of weight. The base of these pans are made of aluminum (4mm thick).
And best of all, the Ella Fry Pan is compatible with all stove types. Plus, you can stick it in the oven with no worries.
Ella Fry Pan does not take long to heat up and the surface is nice and flat (i.e., no pooling of oil around the sides or center).
It’s easy to clean too thanks to the non-stick ceramic coating (German technology, GREBLON®) which is free from PFOA, PTFEs (and other PFAs), and heavy metals.
There may not be a lid with the Ella Fry Pan but if you buy it together in the matching set (Ella Cookware Set) for RM759, you can use the same lid for both the Ella Casserole and Ella Fry Pan.
Alternatively, you can purchase the Ella Fry Pan alone for RM189. All things considered, the Ella Fry Pan is our top pick for the best ceramic non stick pan that is also oven safe!

2. Cooker King C32E Non Stick Wok
Cooker King is a Chinese brand for cheap cookware including this Cooker King C32E Non Stick Wok that is compatible for induction, electric, halogen, ceramic or gas stoves!
It only costs an astounding RM59! The pan has an aluminum base instead of steel. It has a thickness of 3 mm which allows it to distribute heat well! And the exterior is protected by enamel to ease cleaning!
Other than the plastic handle, this non-stick wok’s design is still fairly solid which makes it suitable for heavy duty usage.
However, Cooker King’s non-stick coatings are not made of titanium. Which makes them less resistant than Tefal Cook Easy Wokpan B50389!
On another note, the size of the Cooker King C32E Non Stick Wok is rather large so it’s especially useful for festival cooking!
And since this wok is deep (9 cm), it’s easy to cook dishes with gravy in it too. Such as curry!
Furthermore, a solid vented glass cover is provided.
All things considered, if you’re looking for a large non-stick wok that is well under RM100, this Cooker King C32E Non Stick Wok is for you!

3. Tefal Cookware Day By Day Frypan
Firstly, the Tefal Cookware Day By Day Frypan is a breeze to clean on the interior (Titanium nonstick coating with an anti-scratch layer) and exterior too!
With a shallow depth of 4.4 cm however, food heats up fast on the Tefal Cookware Day By Day Frypan. So you may want to use a lower heat setting to prevent burning your food!
And because this pan doesn’t have pouring edges, it’s best for cooking food with less gravy.
By comparison, the Tefal Cookware Day By Day Frypan has a smaller cooking capacity to both the Tefal Cookware Everyday Frypan and Tefal Cookware So Chef Frypan.
Still, the Tefal Cookware Day By Day Frypan is the best lightweight non stick pan in this list. It’s weight makes it suitable for users of all ages. And for tossing or flipping food.
And unlike the similarly priced Tefal Cookware Everyday Frypan and Tefal’s Cook Easy Wokpan B50389, it doesn’t matter what stove you use the Tefal Cookware Day By Day Frypan on!

4. DAFEIKE Woks & Stir Non Stick Frying Pan With Glass Lid
Maifan Marble Coating is the technology behind this non stick pan by Korean brand, DAFEIKE. Maifan stones are natural and are not toxic to humans.
Due to its coating’s properties, less smoke is produced during cooking too which is great if you live in an apartment or don’t have an efficient exhaust system!
The DAFEIKE Woks & Stir Non Stick Frying Pan With Glass Lid works on all stoves. And since the main material is aluminum, the 11cm high pan is light enough to use with one hand!
The aesthetically appealing wooden handles are comfortable to hold! And you can safely move the pan around even during high heat!
However, the glass cover that comes with the DAFEIKE Non Stick Cooking Wok is heavy. You have to be careful not to over tighten the screw of the lid’s handle during installation as this can cause the glass lid to break!
The glass lid is able to stand on its own though and this is one unique feature of the DAFEIKE Woks & Stir Non Stick Frying Pan With Glass Lid.
To conclude, if you’re looking for a budget non stick wok/pan under RM100, the DAFEIKE Woks & Stir Non Stick Frying Pan With Glass is an arguably better-looking alternative to the Cooker King C32E Non Stick Wok even if the included lid is not as well built.
Note: The DAFEIKE Non Stick Cooking Wok only comes in one large size (32 cm) but the DAFEIKE Non Stick Frying Pans come in 3 different sizes (20, 24, 28 cm) with a height of 10 cm!
Note: Don’t use metal utensils or scrubbers with this pan!
- Suitable For: All Hob Types (Including Induction)

- Takes time to heat up
5. Carote Essential Woody Non-stick Deep Fry Pan With Lid
Almost identical to the Eox Non Stick Frying Pan & Pot:
The Carote Essential Woody Non-stick Deep Fry Pan With Lid comes in 4 different sizes. Unlike the Tefal So Chef Deep Frypan which only comes in 2 sizes (24, 28 cm).
Compared to the Tefal So Chef Deep Frypan (28 cm), the Carote Essential Woody Non-Stick Deep Frypan (28 cm) is slightly heavier. But it does have more cooking capacity!
The largest size (32 cm) of the Carote Essential Woody Non-stick Deep Fry Pan With Lid is 9 cm deep with a 5.8L cooking capacity and an extra handle for easier lifting! Hence, it is perfect for large households (e.g. 5 pax)!
Despite the pan’s inner non-stick coating which feels rough, the overall build quality of this pan is sound. It has a 4.5mm thick base for good heat distribution and even cooking!
An exception to the build quality is the light-colored wooden handle which is prone to stains and breaks easily if not handled carefully!
Note: The manual is in Chinese. Check with the seller if they have an English version.
That aside, the wide base of the Carote Essential Woody Non-stick Deep Fry Pan With Lid gives you more room to maneuver ingredients during cooking. However, the larger size (30/32 cm) of this pan takes considerably longer to heat up.
While the Carote Essential Woody Non-stick Deep Fry Pan With Lid is great value for money (i.e., big cooking capacity, non stick qualities, included glass lid and ladle), the handle makes us doubt that the pan will last you for many years.
But if weight is important to you, the 32cm size of the Carote Essential Woody Non-stick Deep Fry Pan With Lid is lighter than the Cooker King C32E Non Stick Wok (1.5kg vs 2kg).
- Suitable For: All Hob Types (Including Induction)
- Non-stick Coating Material: Swiss-imported Maifan Stone ILAG Coating
- Cookware Material: Aluminum Alloy
- Thickness: n/a
- Available Size: 24/28/30/32 cm
- Weight: 0.91/1.16/1.25/1.54 kg

- Price: ~RM139
Pros:
- Decent build quality
- Don’t have to use a lot of oil
- Easy to clean
- Comes with a lid and in 3 different sizes
- Wide base
Cons:
- Can’t be used in the oven or dishwasher
- Quite heavy
- Free ladle is of poor quality
- Wooden handle is fragile and prone to stains

6. Grater Enameled Cast Iron Non Stick Frying Pan
Made with a striking bright red finish, the Grater Enameled Cast Iron Skillet is available in 3 different sizes – 16, 20 and 25cm. You can choose for a matte or glossy finish for the base, in either black or white too.
Note: The white gloss finish has been discontinued; matte black is recommended for better non stick properties
The Grater Enameled Cast Iron Skillet is not very deep (3.2-3.8cm) though but
it is oven safe for up to 230°C and it looks elegant enough to act as a serving platter on the table too!
Both the pan’s inner and outer surfaces are coated with rust-resistant enamel. Except for therims so you’llneed to season the pan’srims to prevent them from rusting!
Moreover, this non stick pan takes time to heat up (i.e. slow at distributing heat). However, it is great at retaining heat which ensures even cooking!
This quality also makes it ideal for roasting, stewing, or baking! Although deep frying is out of the question since the pan is relatively shallow!
Make no mistake, this is not a light pan and you will need to use both hands to lift it. The pricing however, is reasonable and the build quality of the Grater Enameled Cast Iron Skillet is great.
Note: Be careful when using this on glass services! And do not immediately pour cold water on it after cooking to prevent the surface from cracking due to extreme temperature changes!
- Suitable For: All Hob Types (Including Induction)
- Non-stick Coating Material: Enamel Coating
- Cookware Material: Cast Iron
- Thickness:
- Available Size: 16/20/25 cm
- Weight: ~2.3 kg

7. NEOFLAM FIKA Cast Aluminum IH Induction Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan & Wok
Also free from PFOA:
NEOFLAM’s FIKA Cast Aluminum IH Induction Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan & Wok keeps up with the trends with its irresistible Scandinavian design.
Many have fallen in love with the NEOFLAM FIKA Cast Aluminum IH Induction Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan & Wok and we agree, it’s hard to resist its aesthetic appeal.
In fact, the whole FIKA series was awarded the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2020!
It’s truly non stick and compatible with induction stoves too!
The wooden oval-shaped soft-touch handles ensure a firm grip! However, you need to take care to position the handle away from direct flame during cooking to prevent burning it!
Note: You can also manually tighten the handle if it gets loose!
NEOFLAM FIKA pans come in many shapes and sizes:
The smallest 15cm pan in the FIKA range is 3.5cm deep with arectangular-shape that is convenient for making egg rolls!
Alternatively, the 18cm pan is 6cm deep and acts like a mini wok which you can use to cook single servings of soupy dishes!
Meanwhile, the 24cm and 28cm pans are shallower (5.5cm) and thus, better for frying! Small households (2-3 pax) will find the 26cm pan useful. It’s light and deep at 7.6cm with ample cooking capacity!
Do be aware that all of the NEOFLAM FIKA nonstick pans are not oven-safe! And none come with lids!
Note: Remember to wash and season your pan with oil before your first use!

8. Carote Handle Removable Non-stick PFOA FREE Frying pan
We had to include in this list of the best non stick frying pans in Malaysia because this is the first time we’ve seen a non stick frying pan with a detachable handle!
It’s an innovative concept that we think has practical uses (e.g., you can go straight from cooking on the stove, to baking in the oven, and out to be served on your dining table!). The concept saves you from washing so many items since the pans are deep enough to act as serving dishes too.
Furthermore, the pan is currently sold in a set of 3 (Eight Mile Place Collection) at ~RM190 which we think is a ridiculous deal:
The set includes a 20cm pan, a 26cm pan (both without lids) and a saucepan (with lid) of 18cm diameter. The same handle can be applied to all three pieces of cookware.
And therefore, it’s also very easy to store all three cookware without taking up much space. Their cooking capacity suits households of 2 to 4 pax.
Surprisingly, the build quality of these cookware is not bad, and they’re not very heavy either. They look good too with an undeniable minimalist charm.
If you are in the market for a budget-friendly cookware set, we think the Carote Handle Removable Non-stick PFOA FREE Frying pan is very worth trying out!

9. Lodge Cast Iron Skillet (26cm)
If you have your sights set on getting a cast iron frying pan, go with Lodge, a reputable American household name for cast iron cookware.
These come seasoned and are well made to last for years. The 26cm size is a great size for most households.
The Lodge Cast Iron Skillet can be used straight from the stove (including induction cooktops), and into the oven. And you can take them for camping trips (over a campfire) too.
At 2.42kg, the Lodge Cast Iron Skillet is definitely the heaviest non stick frying pan in this list though. though.
And since the handle is short, you will have to wrap it with a cloth and be very careful if you have to move then pan when it is still hot. Indeed, this pan is able to retain heat very well.
So if you’re not intimidated by the need to season this pan occasionally and its bulk and heft, the Lodge Cast Iron Skillet is a no-brainer for a high-quality cast iron frying pan!
- Suitable For: All Hob Types (Including Induction)
- Non-stick Coating Material: n/a

10. Gorilla Sandwich Bottom Stainless Steel Frying Pan Professional Chef Grade
It’s hard to believe that the Gorilla Sandwich Bottom Frying Pan is professional chef grade at its price. The largest size at 32cm costs just ~RM160.
Yet, the pans are built well, solid and have a definite weight to them (not entirely a bad thing in our books)). They don’t stain or burn easily too.
For those that have induction stovetops, the Gorilla Sandwich Bottom Frying Pan will work on them too.
If you season this pan adequately before using it, the Gorilla Sandwich Bottom Frying Pan works just about as well as a typical non stick pan though maybe not 100% non stick.
But it will not be difficult to remove food residue if you soak it in water first.
The handle of this pan is unusually long (maybe too long for some ovens) but it doesn’t get very hot even if you have the pan on high heat.
Tip: When using stainless steel pans, you need more oil than with a non stick pan and the oil has to be hot (with some slight rippling) before you put eggs in if you want a non stick effect
Seeing that it’s affordable, available in different sizes, and of high build quality, the Gorilla Sandwich Bottom Frying Pan is our winner for the best stainless steel non stick frying pan.
We personally prefer using stainless steel pans over non stick pans of questionable origin even if you need to use more cooking oil and if there is a steeper learning curve.
- Suitable For: All Hob Types (Including Induction)
- Non-stick Coating Material: Stainless Steel
- Cookware Material: Stainless Steel + Aluminium
- Thickness: 4 to 5.5 cm
- Available Size: 20 to 32cm

- Good quality (thick and doesn’t burn easily)
- Easy to clean (once you know how to use it)
- Can be used on induction stoves and in ovens
- Great price considering the quality
- A few different sizes are available
Cons:
- Takes some trial and error to get used to

- Doesn’t come with a lid
- Handle is too long for small ovens

The best non stick pans in Malaysia come in all shapes and sizes. Or rather coatings – most of which, are PTFE (Teflon) – based. Including the newer xylan, Maifan stone, or ceramic type coatings.
